Research

Research Interests: 

Dr. Franke's research focuses on patient safety and quality of patient care in pediatrics and pediatric critical care. She is a member of the Pediatric Measurement Center of Excellence (PMCoE) Expert Work Group, a national interprofessional group of physicians, nurses, and family delegates representing varied pediatric intensive care units (PICUs), and this group is tasked to develop clinically applicable quality measures in pediatric critical care.

About

Dr. Franke’s interests include patient safety, medication safety, and quality of patient care in pediatrics and pediatric critical care.  Interests also include the study of integrative medicine.  She enjoys teaching and is the Associate Residency Director for the Pediatrics Residency Program.
