PEDIATRIC Conference calendar


Please note any conferences in RED have been changed since the original posting of this month’s calendar.

The University of Arizona College of Medicine at the Arizona Health Sciences Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA/PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Conferences are available for credit for up to three months after the original air date.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

GRAND ROUNDS: After completion of the conference, the participant will be able to:

1. Explain new techniques relevant to the topic
2. Recognize relevant research and quality care issues
3. Discuss basic and updated information

RESIDENT CONFERENCE: After completion of the conference, the participant will be able to:

1. Recognize the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of the disease state represented by the case
2. Discuss the pathogenesis of the disease state represented by the case
3. Explain the physiology of the disease state represented by the case

SPECIALTY CONFERENCE: After completion of the conference, the participant will be able to:

1. Explain the updated methods of treatment of various disease states
2. Recognize applicable relevant research in the subspecialty fields
3. Discuss basic and updated information concerning subspecialty fields
