I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from the U of A. Go Cats! I stayed at the U of A for residency because it has one of three combined pediatric emergency medicine programs in the country, and it’s also home to some incredible educators. The new hospital is great to work in and the attendings are wonderful teachers. For fun, I like to hike Sabino Canyon, hang out with friends, eat lots of Mexican food, and dote on my baby girl and wife. After residency I plan on staying in the emergency medicine field focusing on sepsis and medical student and resident education.
