I am a rare actual Tucsonan and completed my medical education at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Midwestern University. I choose the University of Arizona residency program for the location, the good Board pass rates, and the great vacation time that is offered. The attendings clearly enjoy teaching and there is a nice workload that is not overwhelming. I am married and have no kids but two dogs. My husband and I love outdoor activities when we are not working on remodeling our home. After residency I will be staying in Tucson working in general practice.
