I am from Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. I was attracted to the University of Arizona residency program by the residents and faculty, including the program director and the department chair. Everyone was very welcoming and it has that family feel that I was looking for in a residency program. The new children’s hospital is an added bonus! The current residents and faculty are the most amazing group of individuals who are very supportive and fantastic clinicians. When I’m not working, I like to play golf and soccer and hang out with my lovely wife. Tucson has some amazing golf courses with reasonable greens fees and several soccer leagues around. There is even a Saturday pickup game put on by the University of Arizona med students. After residency I plan to specialize in neonatology.
