I grew up in Grand Blanc, Michigan and attended Wayne State University School of Medicine. The nice, medium size of the University of Arizona residency program was an attraction, as well as the variety of patients we get to see between two hospitals. The teaching here is excellent and the inpatient ward utilizes a team approach. Since there is a good variety of patients on wards, morning report topics are always interesting. During my off hours, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and taking my dog for a walk. I am getting married soon, so I have a wedding to plan, too. After I complete my residency I will be joining a general pediatric practice.
