Research Areas

At the University of Arizona Steele Children's Research Center, the focus of each research project is the child. Our scientists conduct research in many areas—like autism, Crohn's disease, cancer, lung disease, necrotizing enterocolits and nutritional problems, to name just a few. UArizona Steele Children's Research Center researchers receive grant support from national funding agencies such as the National Institutes of Health, the CDC, private foundations and community philanthropy.

Currently, there are about 75 research projects being conducted at the Steele Children's Research Center. Please check out our specific research areas in the links to the left to get of full description of our ground-breaking research.
