I grew up and graduated from medical school in Portland, Oregon. I was attracted to the city of Tucson so I applied to the University of Arizona, and after meeting the faculty and residents, I knew it was the place for me. All of residents are happy to be in the program, myself included, and treat each other like family. We have a great time together. In my free time I enjoy brewing my own beer, sharing my home brew with fellow residents, and listening to music. I am still deciding what lies ahead for me at the end of residency: either general pediatrics or pediatric endocrinology. Only time will tell!
