What are your personal interests/hobbies?

I love running, biking, hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and doing all these things with my husband and rescue pup.

What are your professional interests?

I am interested in either hospitalist or outpatient medicine, as well as academic medicine/medical education and rural medicine.

Why did you choose UA Peds?

UA Peds struck a great balance between being an academic training center and still having a close-knit group of residents and faculty. Due to this balance, I knew it would be a great place to make close connections while still seeing a wide variety of pathologies. The Pediatric Residency Program was also very excited about and open to couples matches, so that was a big bonus for me and my husband, who is an Emergency Medicine resident.

What is your favorite thing about Tucson?

I love the mountain views and the hiking! I have so many future adventures planned out already.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

I am hoping to visit all the National Parks in the southwest before finishing residency! I've been to some of them already but definitely still have more on my bucket list.

If you could have a superpower- what would it be?

If I could do anything, I would want to speak any and every language. I think it would be so amazing to have that automatic connection with anyone I meet.
