What are your personal interests/hobbies?

Spending time with my husband, my family and friends, traveling, being involved in our church, reading, being outside, working out and drinking nice things (ie. wine, stout beers and mezcal margaritas).

What are your professional interests?

Quality improvement (specifically effective communication in patient handoff) and general pediatrics (ie. newborn care, obesity and weight management and parenting strategies)

Why did you choose UA Peds?

The people!

What is your favorite thing about Tucson?

The food scene, the sunrises/sunsets and the cacti!

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

I am a goal-directed person, so there are too many to name, but one goal I have kept during residency has been to read roughly 1 book per month.

If you could have a superpower- what would it be?

Time control - I would love to have more than 24hrs in a day.
