I not only grew up in Tucson, but graduated from the U of A College of Medicine. I stayed here for residency because of the great opportunity with the combined emergency medicine and pediatric program. This program also gives me the opportunity to work in two different hospitals, both tertiary peds and community peds. The Residents get direct time with attendings and have the ability to always ask questions and be taught on the spot. I am not married or have any kids, but my dog likes to think he is the baby. I love the outdoors, running, hiking, etc. and hanging out with my dog. I plan on continuing my pediatric emergency medicine focus beyond residency.
