I am a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine and chose to stay here to do my residency since Tucson is such a great place to live. Besides the amazing weather, there is a great variety of live music and outdoor activities such as rock climbing and biking, and great dog friendly places. The main reason I chose the University of Arizona, though, is the great attendings, fellows, and residents. I was fortunate to work with them during medical school. The new Diamond Children’s Hospital opened this year also, which has provided an amazing state-of-the-art facility to work in. After residency I plan on focusing my career in pediatric cardiology.
