I joined the peds residency team after graduating from University of Arizona College of Medicine. The friendly and knowledgeable attendings and residents I worked with during med school are what attracted me most about the residency program. This program also has a variety of experiences available and encourages international travel electives. I love the friendly staff and the attendings, who all love to teach and are so approachable. When I am not working, my husband and I take advantage of some of the great restaurants and hiking that Tucson has to offer. We don’t have children yet so I spend my free time cooking, gardening, and traveling. When I finish my residency, I plan to immerse myself in general outpatient practice.
