What are your personal interests/hobbies?

Spending time with my family and friends. I love traveling, dancing, yoga, hiking, and am an aspiring rock climber. But when I don’t want to move around a lot, I enjoy napping, baking, trying new foods and drinks, and board games.

What are your professional interests?

I am interested in both emergency medicine and pediatrics, and would like to apply my training towards working with underserved populations. I am interested in working in global health, rural health, public health, and preventative care.

Why did you choose UA Peds?

The people here! I think it is such a great program filled with an incredibly caring and knowledge faculty as well as great residents who are close and supportive of one another. I love being able to work in an academic center but also get exposure to the community. Additionally, we have such unique underserved populations in Tucson that I am looking forward to working with.

What is your favorite thing about Tucson?

Too many to list but I love hiking followed up with going to different restaurants and breweries around town with friends. Huge plus if they have trivia nights as well!

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Build friendships with my amazing colleagues, buy and renovate a camper van for future trips, learn Salsa dancing, improve my Spanish, and hopefully get a dog.

If you could have a superpower- what would it be?

To teleport - traveling would be so efficient!
