Program Outline

This accredited three-year program provides a comprehensive training in all areas of developmental behavioral pediatrics.

  • First Year:

    • Clinical rotations in developmental behavioral pediatrics, neurology, genetics, feeding, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular clinic, sleep clinic
    • Weekly fellows clinic
    • Didactic lectures/journal club
    • Participate in AZLEND program
    • Begin to develop research protocol
  • Second Year:

    • Coursework in statistics and scientific writing
    • Design and begin to collect data for research project
    • Clinical work in developmental behavioral clinic, behavior clinic
    • Participate in evaluations at the Crisis Response Center and Casa de Los Niños
    • Weekly fellows clinic
    • Didactic lectures/journal club
  • Third Year:

    • Weekly fellows clinic
    • Didactic lectures/journal club
    • Complete research project
